Children can have difficulty with attention, concentration and/or hyperactivity which can impact not only their learning but their social and emotional skills. An assessment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) involves investigating cognitive and behavioural functioning of a child.
An assessment for ADHD will consist of:

Parent behavioural assessment
Teacher behavioural assessment

Liasion with teacher and other health professionals as required

A formal diagnosis of ADHD must be made by a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist. Our services provide the cognitive assessment and ADHD screener which can support a formal diagnosis of ADHD.
